"strictly wearable"
How wearable is modern society‘s image of masculinity?
Women changing their appearance and being forced to dress a certain way in order to fit anideal is a topic that is frequently discussed in the media. However, the same problem is often overlooked with men.
The necessity of following a certain dresscode shows in a clear, demonstrative distinction from anything that is considered typically female. Going against that standard is usually seen as provocative or intentionally contra-fashion.
But is feminization the only way out of the strict image of masculinity?
Can we return to a primary masculinity:
raw, spontaneous, unchanged, unembellished, neither masculinized nor feminized,
strictly wearable.
